Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate, as a host from the US at MSNBC, a frequent contributor of The Huffington Post, former co-host and host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball have made it clear they would not be on the show in May 2021. They wanted to start their own project, which they named Breaking Points. Ball hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has been featured on various network shows, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time alongside Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball is able to attribute her enthusiasm for politics to having an expectant mother in 2008's primaries. Also, she watched the US elections during her time in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected the people of that country and developed an appreciation for US political influence across the globe. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congress District for Congress in 2010, but lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She was co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. In May 2017, she founded the People's House Project, a political action group working for Democratic causes.
