Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born March 4, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress as well as a comedian and writer. O'Hara has won a number awards which include the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) as well as two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. She was appointed as an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was honored with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara's first recognition as an actress while she was a member the The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also part of her main cast in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara and Candy began work in Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for her outstanding writing for a Variety Series. O'Hara was included in the brand-new Second City artistic Advisory Board and was led by Stephen Colbert.
